NTSC-J Exclusive Games (Miscellaneous):

Within the miscellaneous gallery are games and discs which were originally bundled with consoles, magazines or released as part of other sales and marketing drives. Included are games released as part of the Dreamcast gaming magazine 'Famitsu DC (ファミ通DC)' and games released under the @Barai label

@Barai games were 'try-before-you-buy' games. Similar to a demo disc, they allowed a user to play a small section of the game. Unlike a demo disc however, the full game could be unlocked by purchasing a downloadable 'unlock code' via the Dreamcast's online service. As a result, @Barai games were significantly cheaper than their ‘standard’ counterparts. Initially 15 titles were planned as @Barai titles by SEGA, however only 2 games were ever actually released - Eternal Arcadia (released in a DVD style case) and Hundred Swords (released in a double jewel case)

As part of a promotion by SEGA, the @Barai Eternal Arcadia game discs were also included within the magazine Weekly Famitsu Issue 618 (issued October 2000). Interestingly, information on gameplay controls and other features were printed within the magazine pages
